Dear well-wishers and friends,
As the festive season begins in India, the children at TARA are eagerly anticipating the joyous celebrations, gifts, and fun times that come with it.
September was already a significant and happy month for us as we marked our 15th anniversary, and the TARA Outreach Centre moved to a brighter and bigger building.
In this newsletter you will find a letter from Shyamu, one of our first beneficiaries, who is currently on an exchange program in France.
We also need you to help spread the word. So if you know someone who might be interested in becoming a sponsor and making a big difference to a child's life, please tell them about our child sponsorship program.
Thank you and happy reading!

Hello everyone,
I am Shyamu Korwa, an ex beneficiary of TARA Boys. Currently, I am pursuing Bachelor of Design from National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad. I have been nominated by my college to study in France for 4 months. I got a scholarship from Campus France called
charpak exchange scholarship and with the help of sponsors from TARA, I was able to travel smoothly to France and I wish the same to other children at TARA.
I reached France on the 24th of September, and my first impression about France was just "wow" for me.

It's been 3 weeks in France and I can see a wide range of cultural differences. I am staying in Mulhouse and I find it a very calm place and even the people here are very friendly as compared to India. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the streets and how organized everything is around the city. And of course, everyone is very punctual about stuff here.
It's been two weeks since starting my college and I am still figuring things out and trying to fit into a new routine and adjust to the cultural difference and kind of jokes and topics of discussion students share among their peers. But I am really happy to find that students here are very gentle and help you out when you don't understand things and try to include you in plans and parties. So far it's going really well and I hope it continues like this. I hope to experience more of France in coming months!

We recently celebrated a very important milestone: TARA’s 15th anniversary! Children, staff members and friends all gathered together for the celebration.
We enjoyed : dance performances, a play, speeches by Pascal Fautrat (TARA founder) and Caroline Roublin (Executive Director), accompanied by two TARA Tots residents (Roji and Kanchan), video screenings, roundtable discussions, games, touching testimonials by ex-TARA beneficiaries (Javed and Shyamu) who shared their stories of success and coming of age. The food was delicious and spirits were high.
Dear sponsors and friends, we cannot thank you enough for believing in us. You are the cornerstone of our success and growth. With your continued support, we will face the challenges of the coming years with confidence.
